Valentina Gomez Acosta joins Change Craft as Marketing & Operations Manager, bringing over seven years of expertise in project management, graphic design, digital marketing, and strategic storytelling. Born in Colombia and moving to the United States at age six, Valentina’s cross-cultural perspective informs their ability to create work that resonates across diverse audiences. A graduate with distinction from Yale University with a B.A. in Film and Media Studies, they earned the Howard R. Lamar Prize in Film and Video, the Paul H. and Brigitte P. Fry Cup for most significant contribution to the Arts, and the Yale in HollywoodFest Special Jury Prize for their thesis film Influence.
Valentina’s career has spanned roles as a Woodbridge Fellow and Communications Specialist at the Yale Schwarzman Center, where they led creative content development and social media strategy, and as a Production Assistant at 160over90 Marketing Agency, contributing to Yale’s “Capital Campaign” project. They have produced impactful visual content for organizations including Connecticut Public Television, blending strong technical skills in Adobe Creative Suite with a keen eye for brand storytelling.
Fluent in Spanish and skilled in cross-cultural communication, Valentina excels at collaborating with clients to craft engaging, high-quality multimedia assets that inspire and connect. Their portfolio showcases a vibrant mix of film, design, and integrated campaigns that reflect both artistic vision and strategic execution.
After graduating from Yale, Valentina relocated to Sacramento in search of a career at the intersection of communications and advocacy—a mission that aligns perfectly with Change Craft’s work. In their new hybrid role, they support multifaceted campaign execution, from project and account management to social content creation and operational coordination. Their multi-channel storytelling experience, technical expertise, and talent for aligning cross-functional teams make them an ideal fit for managing digital campaigns, social media engagement, and in-office operations with ease.
