Public Affairs Associate

Ashley Ramirez is a Public Affairs Associate with a degree in Political Science from Sacramento State University. She is fully bilingual in both English and Spanish and joins the team with seven years of experience in youth advocacy with organizations such as the California Higher Education Student Summit, Youth vs. Apocalypse, Youth Climate Leaders of Color, and many others.

Ashley has experience supporting strategic communications, outreach, and advocacy initiatives for statewide and national organizations, including First 5 California, California Health Access, and the Victory Institute. Her background includes public policy, global policy, advocacy, lobbying, and government systems.

In her free time, Ashley enjoys playing pick-up soccer around Sacramento and dedicating her time to Street Soccer USA, where she assists the program in rehabilitating formerly incarcerated and houseless individuals back into society.
