
This section is offered primarily for employees of our client companies who may be interested in preparing for a special role in a transformation project. The information here provides an essential foundation for people who expect to be attending a training session for one of the roles. Clicking a paragraph heading below will take you to a table of contents for the chapters applicable to the role it represents. The Primer is foundation reading to prepare for any transformation role. These five (relatively long) chapters will give you an idea of how and why companies attempt to transform themselves. They will also give you an idea what it feels like to work in a company going through a transformation. You will get some crucial insight about how to take care of yourself during these tumultuous times. Change Team Members offers 21 very short chapters to prepare for membership on this unique type of team. You'll learn how these teams are different and how they work. Change Agents offers 19 short chapters to prepare for training in this role. You will learn the basic concepts here so that you can spend your time in class developing and practicing new skills. Champions presents 16 short chapters that outline the concepts behind the Champion role. Team Coaches does not yet include the chapters that outline this role. Instead, you are offered the opportunity to download a computer-based training program (along with an extensive manual) to learn and practice five basic coaching "plays" that are essential competencies for this role.If you spend much time in Core Reading, you will find that many of the chapters in these "manuals" look alike. One third or more of them overlap. The only differences in these overlapping chapters are that the writing is often changed somewhat to reflect the interests and perspectives of people in that role.
