Here are the article and the slides that accompanied Doug Wesley's speech, Optimizing Employee Retention,  given at the Special Libraries Association Conference, June 13, 2000 in Philadelphia, PA.  You can also view the article and slides of the  DNA of Organizational Transformation speech given by Veronica Boaz at the Women in Technology Conference in San Francisco, June 12, 2000.

Here are some of the articles we've written to address -- or explain -- specific challenges we've faced in our transformation ventures.

For the most part, the role you play in the change you face will determine which of these articles are most important to you.

If you are considering transforming your company, you may want to read "Five Good Reasons to Steer Clear of Transformation" or "Leading Your Company Through Change."

If you have a general interest in the change process, try "Top Ten Myths About Transformation" or "Are You the Person to Lead a Change?"

Two of these articles apply equally to anyone: "How to Survive the Change" and "How to Get Fired." Fair warning, though. These articles can only be useful to you if you read them before you really need them.
